Or maybe you’d like to know which celebrities are setting trends, on and off the runway. Whatever fashion fix it is that you need, I’ve got it for you here at Dress With Dav!

Hi, readers! I’m Davina (or Dav for short).

I'm 21 years old and currently attending college at a small school in Virginia. There, I'm majoring in Communication Studies and minoring in English. In the future, I hope to work closely with fashion brands and companies, whether that be writing or managing their social media platforms.

When it comes to fashion, I am a total shopaholic. Thanks to my Mom, I’ve always found the clothes I wear to be an important aspect of my personality. My style has definitely changed over the last few years and has become more accommodating to the fashion industry’s ever-evolving trends. However, I try to hold back from getting every trendy piece I see, as I know that (like anything else) these styles come and go!

As a college student and fashion connoisseur, I know how difficult it can be to keep up with the fashion world while keeping money in your bank! This is why I’m here to help! Though I may

love following all the latest fashion trends and adding to my ever-growing wardrobe, I also love exploring my own ways to style what's already in my closet. ​My favorite fashion icons are Natalie Zacek (Instagram influencer), Maddy Perez (TV character), Bella Hadid (model), and various other celebrities from the early 2000s, so if you have a similar style, you can expect future blog posts that are inspired by them!

Now, one thing you may be asking: Why is your blog titled "Dress with Dav" instead of "Dress with Davina?" Simply-put, Dav is a nickname coined by one of my close friends, Jae (another fashion-lover and icon). Even though she's the only person who calls me by this nickname, I felt that it was short, sweet, and fit perfectly with the theme of this blog.

That theme being: I want to create a friendly, positive environment where anyone and everyone can learn how to improve upon their style and discuss fashion trends, with no judgement involved. This includes no condescension for not being able to afford the latest styles, and catering to you (my readers) who may be college students or just people on a budget.

As I continue to work on expanding this platform, I hope to help others with my knowledge of fashion and inspire many. Whoever you may be, reading this (my friends, my peers, or even just a random passer-by), I hope that you stick around!
